Pyrogreen Energy will participate in the Puro.earth CDR Summit 2026 on September 21 at One World Trade Center in New York during Climate Week NYC.
As a sponsor and participant, Pyrogreen Energy will join carbon removal suppliers, buyers, project developers, investors, and other industry stakeholders to discuss the development and scale-up of durable carbon removal.
At this year’s summit, Pyrogreen Energy will highlight its Autothermal Continuous Carbonization System, a core solution developed for industrial biochar production and biomass carbonization projects.

Agricultural and forestry residues offer strong potential for biochar production and durable carbon removal. Turning these biomass resources into high-quality biochar at commercial scale, however, requires stable and efficient carbonization technology.
Pyrogreen Energy’s Autothermal Continuous Carbonization System is designed for continuous processing of suitable biomass feedstocks, including wood chips, sawdust, agricultural residues, shells, and other woody and herbaceous materials.
During the carbonization process, combustible gases generated from biomass pyrolysis can be recovered and used to provide process heat. After stable operating conditions are established, this internal heat utilization can reduce ongoing external fuel demand and improve overall thermal efficiency.
The continuous system also supports controlled biomass feeding and stable carbonization, helping project developers maintain consistent operating conditions for industrial biochar production.
Depending on feedstock characteristics and project requirements, the carbonization unit can be integrated with biomass preparation, drying, material handling, and heat recovery equipment to form a complete production line.
Pyrogreen Energy is also extending its experience beyond equipment manufacturing into carbon removal project development.
The company has recently launched a self-developed carbon credit project in Myanmar, targeting approximately 45,000 carbon credits annually.
The project demonstrates how industrial carbonization technology can be connected with biomass utilization and carbon removal at practical project scale. It also gives Pyrogreen Energy direct experience with the operational and technical requirements involved in developing biochar-based carbon removal projects.
The Puro.earth CDR Summit provides an important platform for connecting technology providers with the wider carbon removal market.
For Pyrogreen Energy, the event is an opportunity to discuss how continuous carbonization technology can support commercial biochar production, biomass waste utilization, and durable carbon removal projects.
Charles Qian, CEO of Pyrogreen Energy, and Julie Zhu, Head of Marketing, will attend the summit in person.
If you are developing a biochar project, evaluating industrial carbonization technology, or exploring opportunities in durable carbon removal, we look forward to meeting you in New York.
