Pyrogreen BRKC 1000 Achieve Pre-Approved Status on Isometric's Certify Platform

Pyrogreen BRKC 1000 Achieve Pre-Approved Status on Isometric's Certify Platform

Introduction: A New Benchmark in Carbon Removal We are proud to announce that Pyrogreen's BRKC 1000 has officially become Pre-Approved Biochar Equipment Partners on Isometric's Certify platform. This achievement not only validates Pyrogreen's technical capabilities through recognition by a leading international carbon removal certification body but also means that project developers choosing Pyrogreen equipment will benefit from greater efficiency and reduced compliance risk throughout the carbon credit verification, registration, and issuance process. In the global journey toward climate action, we have taken another decisive step forward.   From Wuxi to the World: Pyrogreen's Journey in Carbon Removal Pyrogreen's story is rooted in a longstanding commitment to biomass energy innovation. Our technological heritage traces back to the 1980s, and after more than two decades of evolution, Pyrogreen was formally founded in Wuxi, China, in 2003 by a team of forward-thinking engineers. Since our inception, we have remained dedicated to advancing biomass pyrolysis technology, developing versatile equipment and integrated solutions tailored to diverse operational scenarios and production environments.   2025 marked a strategic turning point for Pyrogreen: ■   March: We officially established our Carbon Removal Division, expanding our focus from equipment manufacturing to active participation in carbon removal and carbon credit markets. ■   May: Pyrogreen entered into a strategic partnership with Puro.Earth to jointly advance high-integrity carbon credit projects. ■   October: We formally joined the International Biochar Initiative (IBI), becoming an active member of the global biochar community. ■   December: Pyrogreen joined the International Biomass Torrefaction and Carbonisation Council (IBTC), contributing to the development of industry standards. Building on this momentum, in March 2026, following extensive data evaluation and preparatory work, Pyrogreen welcomed a significant new partner: Isometric.   What Is Isometric Certification? And Why Does It Matter? In the carbon removal industry, Isometric stands for rigor, science, and trust. ■   What it is: Isometric is a leading carbon removal certification organization dedicated to verifying permanent carbon removal projects through scientifically robust, transparent methodologies. Its Certify platform serves as a critical hub connecting project developers with buyers. ■   Why it matters: In carbon markets, the quality of credits directly determines their value. Isometric certification is widely regarded as a "gold standard" for high-integrity carbon removal. Projects bearing this recognition are more likely to attract premium pricing and demand from international buyers. ■   Why it's challenging to obtain: Isometric maintains exceptionally stringent requirements for equipment and technology. Beyond operational stability, it demands full lifecycle data traceability and verifiability. Achieving "Equipment Pre-Approval" is particularly demanding: it requires that a system's design, emission controls, pyrolysis efficiency, and other core technical parameters fully align with Isometric's methodologies—ensuring the permanence and additionality of carbon removal from the ground up.   How Pyrogreen Achieved Certification: A Three-Pillar Approach Earning the "Pre-Approved Equipment Partner" status was the result of close collaboration across Pyrogreen's technical, data, and compliance teams. 1.   Technical Excellence: Our BRKC 1000 underwent iterative optimization to ensure uniform temperature distribution during pyrolysis, high fixed-carbon content in biochar output, and clean flue gas emissions—all meeting Isometric's strict technical criteria for permanent carbon sequestration. 2.  Data Transparency & Traceability: We implemented open data interfaces and robust Data Collection and Monitoring Systems (DCS). Every ton of biochar produced is backed by traceable records of process parameters, energy consumption, and feedstock sourcing—providing a solid foundation for MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification). 3.    Regulatory Alignment: Pyrogreen's compliance team engaged in multiple rounds of deep-dive reviews with Isometric auditors to ensure that equipment operating procedures align with international carbon removal standards, proactively addressing potential compliance barriers for project deployment.   What This Means for Our Clients Choosing Pyrogreen equipment that carries Isometric pre-approval is more than an equipment purchase—it's an investment in a lower-risk, higher-value carbon asset generation pathway. More Credible Credits: Carbon credits generated using pre-approved equipment carry enhanced credibility on the Isometric platform, streamlining approval and issuance. Reduced Project Risk: With equipment compliance already validated, the risk of project rejection or credit reversal due to technical non-conformance is significantly lowered. Streamlined Compliance: Production processes are aligned with international best practices from the outset, simplifying subsequent verification steps and accelerating credit issuance cycles. Greater Market Recognition: Leveraging Isometric's reputation, your carbon removal project gains easier access to premium global buyers, potentially enhancing the market value of your credits.   Looking Ahead: Scaling Impact Together ■   Achieving Isometric pre-approval is just the beginning. Looking forward, Pyrogreen remains committed to deepening our impact in the carbon removal landscape: ■   Accelerating Project Deployment: We will support more clients in rapidly launching and scaling biochar-based carbon removal projects using our pre-approved systems. ■   Advancing Methodologies: We will actively contribute to industry dialogue and the continuous improvement of biochar carbon removal methodologies. ■   Expanding Global Reach: Building on this certification, we aim to bring Pyrogreen's solutions to broader international markets, enabling Chinese innovation to serve global climate action. On the path to net-zero, Pyrogreen is committed to being your trusted partner. Let's lock away carbon with technology—and connect the future with trust.
